Innovative collaborations between museums and creative industries
The Smart Accelerators of Cultural Heritage Entrepreneurship (SACHE) project develops and delivers integrated local development strategies based on tools and approaches that accelerate creative entrepreneurship in and around cultural heritage.
There are 12 partners from 6 European countries participating in the project co-funded by the Interreg Central Europe program to expand and strengthen the role of cultural heritage sites, symbols and values by transforming them through the acceleration process proposed by SACHE and designed in methodology by the Ca’ Foscari team. Incubation and acceleration with two pilot actions that culminated in the construction of a transnational event with coaching activities to approach the cultural and economic market.
In particular, the aiku team created the event “Aperture Straordinarie” the first festival dedicated entirely to museum innovation (held February 21-25, 2022).
It involved 5 museums in the Veneto region, 5 creative cultural enterprises and 5 events with as many as 28 speakers. The initiative was sponsored by Assindustria Veneto Centro and realized thanks also to the collaboration of ICOM (International Council of Museums) Triveneto.
The aim of the series of meetings is to bring out and compare co-design experiences developed within the SACHE Project, and to foster a wider knowledge of replicable models of innovation in museum offerings that can be adapted to different and new contexts.
The meetings aimed to stimulate attention and debate on the motivations and ways in which Museums can assume the role of “Accelerators of creative entrepreneurial solutions for the cultural sector.”
